Who Am I?

I’ve been a sexuality educator for over 15 years. I’ve consulted for Seventeen Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Frontline, and MTV. I am lucky enough to earn a living doing research that ideally supports the lives of youth and young adults. I am fascinated by how the internet has changed the way we interact with each other. I can’t even imagine what I would have been like had I been a youth today.

  1. My son, an attorney in Portland, sent me the announcement of your program “Sex, Relationships, and Technology” in McMinnville. I’m an AASECT certified sex educator and teach the Psychology of Human Sexuality at Santa Barbara City College. I would love to come top your program, but it’s way too far away. If you have an outline or handouts you’d be willing to share, I’d love to get them. I got my sexuality background working for 20 years for Planned Parenthood in the bible belt. After getting my MSW, I’ve been teaching at two universities in Kansas and now back in California where I grew up. I’m almost 70, so probably have less understanding of the tech world you write about on your blog. Loved the piece “My Own Experience.” I really need to learn more about this. Are you on the AASECT listserve? I learn so much from that. Thanks for any help in this area. I didn’t intend this to be public, but I don’t have a way to contact you.
